Each religion believe that their books (vedas) are told by God. If it is so, how did they come to know that?
If Bible, Bhagavat Gita or Quran is told by the respective Gods, then how did the believers come to know that matter? Are they telling it blindly? Were anybody presented when their God writing such books? What was the language used by God? Where was the pen and paper? How a prophet’s illusion can be considered as God’s words?

simple answer: God is imaginary

What are your spiritual and political views on gay marriage, and does the former affect the latter?

Kerry, you seem pretty intent on the separate but equal idea, don’t you?
That’s where the problem comes in – where the spiritual affects the political.
King of Woad – True, true. Birds of feather flock together is a terrible statement tho. I consider myself a Democrat, but am also Catholic. I don’t put my religious views into my political views. I agree with abortion bans and gay marriage because science proves fetuses are living, and sexuality is a biological trait, not because of my faith.

Suggestion by Black Country Man
Spiritually nah, but politically, you can do whatever you’d like.

Suggestion by PROBLEM JPAS
I am all for gay marriage.

Marriage was the first institution established by God. He was clear on the ingredients. lol

is there a difference between mormons and latter day saints or they are one and the same?
if there are any differences, what are they?

Suggestion by flingebunt
A Mormon is an adherent, practitioner, follower, or constituent of Mormonism, which is the largest branch of the Latter Day Saint movement. Most commonly, the term Mormon refers to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church), which is commonly but imprecisely called the Mormon Church.

Suggestion by The Other Cornerstone
They are all morons.

Same thing.

What does it feel like when you’re already dead?
I’m still young and I know I shouldn’t be thinking about this stuff but I just don’t like the concept that once you’re dead, you totally won’t think and feel anything ever again. The fact that you won’t think and feel anything is just half of it, the other half is that it’s gonna last FOREVER.

Is that’s what’s going to happen? So once you reach death, you’ll be like asleep forever, for eternity. Death probably doesn’t even offer the decency to let you have dreams during your eternal death. You’ll be in a total state of nothingness FOREVER.

It just seems unfair; you live your life here on earth for 70-80 years, and after that POOF, just like that, you’re FOREVER DEAD. That’s it. I don’t think man deserves this, don’t you think? What have we done that made nature limit our lives to such a short time span and then make us our minds and feelings disappear forever? MAN DOESN’T DESERVE THIS.

No one really knows the answer to this question, although depending on your religion, there are many speculations.

The word on the street is; “Repent”

Collosions 3.
3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

Timothy Chapter 2.
11 It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:
12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:
13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

Suggestion by Elisabeth
I’m sorry to disappoint you, but once you’re dead, you don’t think or feel anything. It’s kind of like going to sleep forever, but with no dreams. You may go to heaven, or you may become a ghost, I’m to really sure.
